The Web continues to develop its programs, so that as many avenues are possible and available for the Web’s peers.

One of the most important things to remember about the Web is that we are about developing relationships that lead to recovery. The Web views recovery as more then the stopping of an addiction, or lessening of symptoms. The Web believes that recovery
incorporates an increase in happiness of life.

The Web sponsors many programs, but the most important one is Peer Mentoring. A Peer Mentor is engaged in self-directed recovery, and works for people with mental illnesses in regaining control over their own lives and over their own recovery process. As someone who experiences a mental illness themselves, the Peer Mentor models competency in recovery and maintaining ongoing wellness. In this Peer to Peer relationship both individuals take away something positive that helps one another in their path to recovery.
